ABOUT ME

Well...I don't know all about me, I don't think anyone can say "all about oneself". Basicaly I'm a guy that loves to learn about himself through his experiences with others, to be able to stand in awe of all the small yet significant details life offers. Not to think but to feel. And I do all I can never to grow up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer accomodation to travelers that decide to take "the road less traveled", by which I mean not your ordinary run of the mill tourists. Only one couch with all the commodities, but that's all I have ATM. I'm a painter so there might be some paint thinner and turpentine scent in my apartement.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through Couchsurfing I have met some of the most interesting people who offered perspective unlike those I usualy meet in my immediate surroundings. Previously I had another Couchsurfing profile that I shared with my former girlfriend, but she "comandeered" that, so...I don't need to spell it out. Learn from my experience or make your own mistakes, it's up to you ;)
I'm glad that I could be of help to those who neeeded a place to crash for a few days back then, and at the same time I'm thankful for everything I received from them.

Interests

I'm a student of human nature and appreciate all the people who think outside the box. Music and art play an importaint role in my life. My traveling interests are somewhat constrained at the moment, but there are just soooo may places I would like to visit that I wouldn't know even where to begin.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: basicaly if somebody actually wrote a script and a movie doesn't rely on explosions to capture the attention of the viewer I'm sold. Old movies, Star Wars series, Coen brothers, Woody Allen, Hitchcock etc. Oh, and anything with Olivia Wilde :)

Music: Esbjorn Svensson, Medeski Martin & Wood, Thievery Corporation, Fela Kuti, dZihan & Kamien, Caffe Drechsler, Massive Attack, calssic music...it goes on

Books: Murakami, Bukowski, Millman, Gibson, Quinn...just to name a few authors. Books on psychology, physiscs and some stuff I wouldn't know how to describe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A long ride in a cramped minivan through Joradn desert, a swim in the Dead sea. Sky splitting in half moments before the storm on top of Nimrod's Mountain.
And those moments when I do something on canvas that I can't explain just how I did it, but it just happens in a perfect way.
