Born and bred in a small town in Devon with a population of only 2000 people I was always desperate to find out what else the world had to offer so.....6 years ago, I left the daily grind of a 9-5 job and hopped on a plane. Having spent almost a year and a half travelling Asia, I turned my attention to South America using Brazil as a base where I have been for the last 4 years. I currently divide my time between Brazil, visiting family and friends in the UK and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As someone who’s spent a lot of time on the road, I have found the most important part of the journey is the people you meet and the friendships you form along the way aswell as finding that home away from home.
Couchsurfing can provide this and much more.

Interests

TRAVELLING....is my life and whilst I'm on the road I live by adventures. I love to learn and every country is a classroom.
I learnt to SCUBA DIVE in my first month away and was instantly obsessed. I'm never more relaxed than when I'm underwater.
When I'm above though, I love meeting new people and EXPLORING new places from mountains to beaches, jungles to deserts and cities to small villages. The world is my playground!
I also love MUSIC.....any kind, especially when it's live.
Nothing beats a BEER with GOOD COMPANY.
SPORTS...I flew to South America primarily to watch the games and experience the World Cup in Brazil and after got to see some of my heroes whilst volunteering on the Olympics in Rio 2 years later.
FOOD....aswell as finding out about the different cultures and meeting people, my favourite thing about travelling is the foooooooood!!!
