Hi~ I'm danny kim from South Korea.

I've been living in Riverside, CA studying my major which is chemical Engineering.

I'll stay here until July 2015, and I wanna learn a lot of things about U.S culture, studying and treveling over the U.S.

I've lived in South Korea just before I came here to study.

So, you know, I'm expert of Korea haha. And I've been learning English very hard. I will be fluent with English soon lol.

Umm.. My dream is to be a professor of my major, Chemical Engineering. So, I have plan to go to the Germany and get a mater degree, and come back to the U.S. to get a doctor degree.

If you have an interest in east Aisa culture, just let me teach you about it!!

I'm sure I'll teach you very well cuz a professor is also a kinda teacher so that I've practiced a lot how to teach other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First, I wanna meet local people in some area!!

Then I can learn more about the traditional culture of some area.

And I really like to meet new people who have lived in totally different culture. They will help me widen my perspective to grow up as a good person.

Second, I don't wanna spend my time alone while I'm treveling. I need a someone who talk with, discuss about journey.

As a student, I can not help but go trip on vacation which usually has occasion like Christmas, New year. So, I don't have anyone who celebrate it together. Besides, my family is in Korea. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Finally, I am a student so I don't have enough money. Even hostel fee is kinda burden to me. Tuition fee of UCR where I'm studying is quite expensive. So, I don't afford hostel.

These three reasons are why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Interests

I like to play basketball, table tennis, billiard and soccer!!!

I just do like ball sports.

I also like to talk to other people about a lot of topics such as hobby, study, social problems etc.

These days, I get an interest in learning English.

It is not easy but it will be worth it!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is K-pop music. Do you know Psy from Korea??? I'm big fan of him!!! 강남 스타일(Gangnam style)_this is Korean- is my favorite song lol.

My favorite movies are Disney movies such as Rapunzel, Big heros 6.
They are still fun to me even though I'm kinda old haha.

My favorite book is well known Harry Potter.
As you know, all people love this book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Europe without any helps from the other people.

I worked in the factory and teached middle school students in the Academic institution to earn the money.

It was very precious experience to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I wanna teach hosts many cultures of Korea.

I wanna learn about the culture of the area where hosts are living

I wanna share my life story and my dream, passion etc...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my own experience with hosts.

You know what? All Korean men must go to the Millitary service as duty.

So, if you want, I can share a story about Korean Army lol.

And I went to the Europe trevel last summer season with my own money that I had earned by myself working in the factory.

It was sooooo amazing and good!!!

Also, I have been to Japan when I was young as a homestay for 1month.

So, I can tell you about japaness culture.

Besides, I've been living in U.S. with a lot of international friends from France, China, Germany.... so, I can tell you about the culture differences among the countries.
