About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Speaking my way around the world, finding adventure and avoiding disaster!

ABOUT ME

I'm the oldest of eleven children, currently studying to get my MA in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management. I study languages as a hobby, particularly of places I think about visiting in the near future. I am in a wheelchair, but don't let it fool you! I'm a very physically active person, play several sports, and I have even done 3 marathons in my wheelchair. I enjoy weight lifting, karaoke/singing, and anything related to traveling around the world! I'm a very happy person, a sponge for information, and enjoy collecting new experiences so I can share those stories with the next person I meet. I currently live in a nice new apartment only feet from the water's edge of Lake Memphremagog. With plenty of space, very comfortable accommodation, and a lifetime of being a world traveling country boy with a city boy heart, there will be plenty of room for making new friends and learning about each other, building lasting relationships that can endure for a weekend or a lifetime :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow. If it's practical, do it. And learn how to be ok with letting go...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My home is open to those wishing to visit, and I look forward to coming to your home when the invitation is extended.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several times, single occupants, dating couples, or family pairs and groups. I also surfed myself as I traveled around Western Europe. My door is as open and welcoming as smile and handshake are. Couchsurfing has been a wonderful experience every time I've done it, and I look forward to hosting and surfing for many years to come.

Interests

Foreign languages, singing, weight lifting, and of course, traveling to different countries worldwide!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Michoacan, Mexico, where monarch butterflies annually migrate. I sat at the foot of the mountain reading Oliver Twist, as hoards of orange and black butterflies surrounded me, floating by as they greeted the rising sun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and share stuff related to language, music, and information about physical fitness and nutrition.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm glad to share my home and my food, as well as my friendship and an honest smile.
