ABOUT ME

Hi! Lots has changed since I have first started traveling and couchsurfing. Out of highschool I was shy and not sure of myself, I didn't know what I wanted to do. My travels got me trying new sports meeting new people and essentially discovering myself. By some strange chain of events I was at a bar in cairns Australia where I got drunk and woke up on a fish boat half way up the great barrier reef on a three month fishing trip! Since that day I have been fishing for the last six years on three different coasts and now I am about to finish marine school that will give me the ability to be the master of a fishing vessel of no more than a hundred tones. I now have the dream to sail around the world, but first I must bring my family to Canada from the Ukraine. Living all alone for the last ten years has been hard but I learned how to make friends everywhere I go. Thanx Couchsurfing!!! Besides who doesn't like a guy with a tone of fishing tales??? That was a pun for anybody who didn't get it ;) I like to think of myself as an outgoing, ambitious, and fearless(I do one of the worlds most dangerous jobs) I also like to think of myself as a good friend. I know how it feels to be all alone in a strange place so I always help people with what ever I can. When I come ashore I like to shake off the sea legs by dancing, and once I stop rocking I try to get out in to the forest and explore the landscape. Well that's about all I can come up with at the moment... Don't be a stranger! Don't be shy to say hi :) I love making new friends!

Cs has been the way I make friends for a while now. I love it on here because everyone is so open minded! I have had nothing but good experience with this website(really I should call it a lifestyle). Its hard to have friends when your in a new city every week but cs has made it so easy to go on adventures with people who become your life long friends :)

I'm pretty good in the kitchen, I don't mind cleaning and I usually don't come empty handed. Maybe I bring a fish or maybe a bottle. Defiantly a story or ten. A true sailor ;)
