Hi there, I'm Dara :)

I'm a french-canadian girl who loves meeting new people and exploring the world! I studied fine arts so you can often find me wondering in a museum or art galleries, but I also enjoy getting lost in a new city and taking my time to take it all in. I usually travel by myself and I love the freedom that it gives me. I also believe that solo travel makes it easier to meet other travelers! I've made so many friends in cs events or in hostels, it's like seeing the world through the eyes of all those amazing people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like most of the people on couchsurfing, I'm here to meet new friends, live amazing experiences and have fun. I love to travel and I wish to see the world, one couch at a time. I started actually using couchsurfing in 2015 when I did my first solo trip across Europe and fell in love with the concept! I've met so many amazing people here from all over the world and every single pesron I meet helps me become a better version of myself.

Interests

I like art (making and admiring), photography (taking pictures and looking at them), visiting museums, music (listening and playing), but I also love to move and go hicking, practice karate and slackline, eat some good food... I also love to talk, so ask me anything and I can talk for hours ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, I had the amazing chance to go visit Okinawa, Japan, and to practice karate with a japanese sensei for two weeks. It was a dream I had for 12 years so having the opportunity to acomplish it was amazing!
