Hey! I'm Daria and i am Russian Currently backpacking Thailand :)) Since I was 19, my friends and I would hitchhike across the Caucasus, Georgia, and Turkey during every university break. Now I'm continuing that spirit on my own long-term journey with no end in sight I'm a former professional athlete and coach in gymnastics, Pilates, and yoga. I graduated uni in Saint-petersburg Russia (born and raised in St. Petersburg) :)i love art — drawing, painting, music, making things with my hands. I'm find magic in simple moments. I cherish the sun deeply, start my days with yoga outside while listening to music , and prefer villages to cities. I love walking for hours, petting stray cats, collecting beautiful stones, swimming in cold mountain lakes, sleeping under the open sky, driving with the car window down, watching sunlight dance through a window in the morning. I speak Russian and English. I want to meet people so we could learn from each other — a chance to be part of your daily life, to help naturally and to share stories, meals, and quiet moments. this summer i started my big journey with my friends we are 5 young russian girls and we hitchhiked more then 7 000 kilometres from st.petersburg to istanbul, in september my friends left and i continued travelling alone I spent 2 months in Cappadocia, Turkey, at a small art studio, where I helped with the host's child and assisting in organizing and running art workshops for travelers. After that, I lived for two months at a family winery in a Georgian mountain village. There, I took part in the whole wine-making process, from grape to bottle, and painted large wall murals with traditional Georgian ornaments and scenes. i have many stories to tell!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Thinking about this question, one moment from my athletic career stands out In my sport aerobics, our team trained for years under a coach whose toxicity slowly shattered us. By age 16, what felt like a second family had broken down completely. Faced with no coach and no team left in my city, I decided to gather the girls from the old squad and train ourselves. Competing professionally without a coach is very hard —but we did it. For seven more years, we pushed, learned, and grew together. We didn’t become world champions, but we were a team that refused to break. Everybody in Russia knew us and our story. That journey of resilience, more than any medal, is what I carry with me.
