Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS seems to be a great alternative to booking expensive hotels, renting apartments and so on as I believe there should be no borders or money limits for travelling, getting to know other cultures and people.
The idea of being a global citizen seems pretty appealing to me, as the geographical borders or any political or religious beliefs should not stop people from broadening their horizons by getting to know more about how people live in other parts of our planet.
