Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm Dario, an italian guy in his 30s.
I’m originally from Milan but I currently live in the Alps, in a small town called Chiesa in Valmalenco.
I work with 3D printings and I'm focusing on developing my own designs, from jewelery to other artsy stuff.
I enjoy meeting new people and learn from their stories, cultures and traditions. I'm curious about everything that is different from me and my habits.
I see myself as a friendly and positive person, reflexive, easygoing, open mind, curious, reiable and honest. I'm comfortable both in a 5 stars hotel and in a slazy bar.
I try to live with a positive and peaceful attitude and having a healthy lifestyle.
I’m absolutely a food lover. I love cooking, the smell and taste of food. I’m always ready to taste new traditional food. If you’re sending me a request please write me your favorite dish so I know you have red my profile :)
I like people watching, socializing, understanding other points of view, living and sharing different experiences.
I practice yoga and basketball. I love mountains, skiing and hiking.
I couldn’t live without my bike and Spotify.
I love festival's atmosphere, parties and dancing, ecstatic dance.
I'm an observer, a listener but in the same time I really enjoy long conversations, eating good food, drinking wine, whisky or armagnac.
I usually say what I think without a mask...I always explain my point of view and if I'm wrong I can say sorry, but I think that's important to talk and to explain each others...comunication is the key!
My philosophy is:
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." M. Gandhi
Do what you feel, do what produce in you emotions, follow what makes you feel happy. Enjoy the moment!
Do not look elsewhere for the happiness that is in yourself.
Don't be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution.
Freedom, peace and love :)
If you’ve red this far please start your request with “ciao Spilu”! Thanks
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is awesome!
Surfing you can meet lots of different people, usually open mind and interesting people that only want the cultural exchange without thinking the economic side. You can also really live a city like a local even if you stay just few days, understanding different cultures and different ways of life.
Hosting or meeting foreign it's also amazing because you can help people, teach them your culture and also learn lots of things. It's like travelling although you are at home!
