Overview
About Me
My name is Dariush and I’m a doctor of physiotherapy (DPT). I work a lot, also travel a lot. And I like to go out and have fun with friends.
My philosophy of life is accepting the current moment, embrace life the way it is, and not caring about past and future. I don't believe in borders of any kind. What we need is less walls (either physical or mental).
How I like to visit a city is a mix of famous tourist sites and discovering the local life. And if you happen to come To Esfahan I can show you the best of both.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet interesting people and find new friends, which is the best thing you can get while traveling. I hope that traveling and meeting new people help me understand life better and make me a better person.
What's the point of traveling if you just run around seeing monuments?!

Music, Movies, and Books
music: Pinkfloyd (it's more than just music to me)
movies: A requiem for a dream, V for vendetta, Christopher Nolan' s movies, classic movies.
books: "Paulo Coelho" , "Sadegh Hedayat" and “Emma Goldman”s books are my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in is the most amazing thing that someone can do. You don't have to look for "something special".
Teach, Learn, Share
If you become my guest someday, we can play board games and video games, or relax and watch a movie on video projector’s big screen.
I like long walks. Also long talks about politics, history, philosophy, movies, Persian poems, etc.
I can teach you photography and videography basics.
I can teach you Farsi words and phrases and you can teach me a little of your language.
Another thing that I want to learn and share with others is travel experiences, which is useful for future travels.
