About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding a catchy sentence for my mission.

ABOUT ME

I am a human, loved of discoveries through my sense, especially taste, as many of my childhood' stories can asset, I have started to interact with the world through my taste buds and still do(though I have slightly become more selective in my gustatory endeavors. ). In other words I love cooking, eating, fermenting, brewing, cheese-making and dumpster diving. Sandor Ellis Katz has become my new idol. If you know who he is, we should definitely hang out around a turnip choucroute

I play piano, dance, write, sew(I am a costume maker as well), listen to music, go to political conferences, and love to read about everything possible from mushroom growing to libanese poetry. I have worked as an educator in food security, environmental education and art projects. I have a infinite curiosity for the plant and animal kingdom, and was probably mycelium in another life.

New love these days: PROTEST PUPPETS, NATURAL DYES( I am doing experiment with vegetables and trees especially), AFRICAN-AMERICAN IMPROVISATIONAL QUILTS, FORARING AND BREWING.

and any type of regional traditional craft that you could teach me.

My weaknesses are well-made shoes, local fabrics and good food.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that you should always allow yourself to be surprised.
