About Me

Attention
========
I don't live in the center of Langenthal but 8min outside of it, in the quiet suburbs! My place litteraly is right in the middle between Zurich, Lucerne, Bern and Basel.

It's easy to get to my place by train from Langenthal (it's only like 10min) and right after leaving Langenthal you'll find yourself out in the green where there is no vibrant and banging nightlife but just a lot of nature, cows and small, sleepy Swiss villages :)
Good thing is, it's the perfect base to get to four awesome Swiss cities in no time, you can reach Zurich, Lucerne, Bern and Basel all in less than 1h by train. Daytrip anyone?

The village I live in is called "St. Urban" and you can use Google street view to cruise around for a bit:

lived in Medan (Sumatra, Indonesia) and where I worked for an NGO that protects Orang-Utans and their natural habitat (rainforest) during 1.5years. I just recently came back to Switzerland after traveling SEA and Senegal for a bit.

Passionate kitesurfer and snowboarder, been to way too many festivals and concerts, still love electronical music, always ready for spontaneous trips to wherever, enjoy being around travelers and other people that just make their home wherever they are.

Somebody just recently called me a drifter and vagabond which made me smile - that's the spirit! Enjoy the good moments and connections folks.

My couchsurfing experience:
Three of my best friends and I lived toghether in this huge place we called "The Klinik". Together we ran the "The Klinik" project and probably most of the surfers that visited our city crashed at our place at some point.

I'm still cool with the boys but I lived on the other side of the planet for a while - where I also hosted students and researchers that sometimes crashed at my place after spending weeks in the rainforest - and now I am back in Switzerland but still live like 2h away from them :) That's why I created my own profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We did a whole lot of hosting back in switzerland and surfed a couple of times too.

I love it for all the amazing stories and experiences you get out of it. Like the story from one of our surfers where they floated the whole first floor of a house, stole the ducks from the cities lake and let them swim between the rooms while a guy was snorkeling around from room to room!
Epic!

Many amazing and inspiring people... People that liked our place so much, that they returned with even more friends and more beer... People that have become good friends of us...

A lot of people say that couchsurfing has lost its spirit and sould. We never got this feeling. all the People we met had their hearts at the right spot and it was a pleasure meeting them.

Interests

Mountains and snow as well as water and waves are by far my favourite playgrounds. Also a huge nerd that likes computers but I try my best at being a good, social human being and not the socially awkward kind of nerd.
