Hey I'm David. I've had a dream for the last few years about traveling across the US and hiking in the national forests. My mom had a dream when she was young of hiking the Appalachian trail but gave up her dream to raise me and my sisters. She planned on doing it after we became adults but sadly was in a bad accident when I was 15. She is now disabled so I decided I'm going to live her dream for her and go to all the places she wanted to see and take pictures while keeping a journal for her. I was 400 pounds two years ago and decided it was time to change my life and persue my dream and I'm finally to the point that I feel confident to go. I'd love to meet some people along the way and learn about different cultures as I make my way to my final destination in Oregon.
