ABOUT ME

Traveling and speaking English became a passion to me. I'd like to improve and practice it as much as I can since I love meeting worldwide people, talking about our views of the world, and learning about how countries and cultures work.

As an Engineer, I love technologies and understand how things work together.

I also practice bouldering, swimming and running twice a week. Sport is a very good way to feel free in our bodies.

Cooking is also a great moment for me since this is a way to exchange ideas and fun moments with people. I regularly bake macaroons, croissants, pains au chocolat and many other tasty things ! I love food !

I'm used to travel and to visit friends and family in other countries. A big part of my family is Polish and I'm looking for as many opportunities as I can to speak English.
If I just think about the years 2012 and 2013, I've been in Poland for 2 weeks to visit my family, 2 weeks in the US to visit friends, 1 week in England to visit a french friend of mine who decided to stay there, 2 weeks in Ireland for vacations in a hostel in which I've met people from everywhere, 1 week in Germany for my job and a weekend in Belgium (very usual since I have a lot of family in the North of France).

Learn as much as you can, be generous with people who need, enjoy life and never forget your friends, travel and take a step back on the things you thought were unfair, pay attention to the stereotypes, be respectful, be aware, be alive !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I often go to Paris for various activities, and I live at about 40 minutes by train from the capital. I don't currently have all the things that are needed to well host someone, but I'd love to do it for people I meet at the CS meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm used to host friends regularly, but I've hosted only one couchsurfer until now. It was a great experience.
I hope having other greats experience soon !

Interests

I'm interested in new technologies for which I stay connected by reading there news everyday. I am the president of a non profit organisation nammed Shy Robotics, in which we have robotics projects. Several times a week, I publish news about robotics on our blog, http://shyrobotics.com.

Sport my second interest since I'd like to stay as dynamic as I can. As a very clever man said, "healthy spirit in a healthy body". The sports I practice are Running, Swimming, Bouldering, Biking, etc.

Speaking english is one of the most important interests for me. I like the link it creates with people from allover the world. I'd like to improve it by learing as much as vocabulary as I can, reduce my amount of mistake, and get a real English accent whereever it comes from. :-)

The fourth interest I think of is Cooking and baking. I don't know if being french guided me to love cooking and eating, but this is an area in which I'll take care to improve. For now, I regularly bake croissants, macaroons and various dishes. Each time I'll have to choose a Home, I'll take care of the size and the equipment I can install in the kitchen.

I discovered Rock Dancing in 2011 and I practice it once a week since then.

Music has been one of my interests several years ago since I've been practicing piano for 6 years... but it was 7 years ago. I think about learning it again and I still like listening to music quite often.

So many to name !

I like rock music since I can Danse on it, I like classical music, RNB sometimes, Jazz when it keeps dynamic, some electro music,... I realy think it depends of the track more than the kind of music.

I like science fiction movies, intellectual movies, fanstastic movies, etc.

I read books about sciences in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You'll see me as a nerd... I launched an autonomous submarine robot project at school to participate to a contest organized by NATO in Italy. My team has been selected for the final !

Teach, Learn, Share

I finished my studies 2 years ago and I'm now working very close to Paris on the purpose of airplanes. I'm not an expert of Paris, but I'm used to walk there, I know some nice places to visit and I'm used to the common transports. Don't hesitate to contact me to share a good time there !

What I Can Share with Hosts

There is always a lot of things to share with people and I love talking, cooking, dancing, sharing about cultural differences, etc. I don't use Couch Surfing to avoid hotels but to share the spirit that built CS, bringing the best I can to the host.
