Howdy! My name is David and I'm currently doing a trip through Central and South America. I was a teacher in Boston for the past two years, teaching English as a Second Language at a high school. This year I decided to travel, and I'm hoping to make it all the way to Argentina! I grew up in Vermont but was born in Ecuador -- my mom's side of the family is from there. I speak Spanish and English . I love to spend time outside, trail running, hiking, biking, or skiing. Other than that I spend my time reading or playing guitar.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet new people and have great experiences! I've really been blown away by the generosity of the people I've met. The couchsurfing community is really great, and I'm happy to take part in it. It's wonderful how much further Couchsurfing can go beyond sharing a place to stay.
