About Me

Hello!
My name is David and I'm currently doing a trip through Central and South America. I was a teacher in Boston for the past two years, teaching English as a Second Language at a high school. This year I decided to travel, and I'm hoping to make it all the way to Argentina!

I grew up in Vermont but was born in Ecuador -- my mom's side of the family is from there. So, I speak Spanish and English (but my Spanish needs more practice).

I love to spend time outside, running, hiking, biking, or walking. I especially love seeing new places and getting to meet new people, and that's why I love Couchsurfing so much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people and have great experiences!
I've really been blown away by the generosity of the people I've met. The couchsurfing community is really great, and I'm happy to take part in it. It's wonderful how much further Couchsurfing can go beyond sharing a place to stay.
