I wan't to explore the world in search of Massive whitewater and amazing rocks to climb

ABOUT ME

I currently work for an aerial research company so I'm on the road a lot for work, but when I'm not working I'm pretty much cruising around in my truck (living out of the back & tents) in search of new rivers to paddle, rocks to climb, gaps to slackline, and just being outside.

I'm getting ready to move to Alaska to fly this winter (SUPER STOKED!) Hopefully I'll get some time in to fish, hit some of the ice cold rivers, and learn to ice climb.

PHILOSOPHY

I have 3 basic beliefs:

Take care of Mother Nature and she'll take care of me
Karma
and basically do your best to be kinda to everyone

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CouchSurfing, although there have been many times when I have extended my place of living to complete strangers or had it extended to me. It's always nice meeting new people and hearing stories about their travels and life. I hope that I get to experience that again while meeting people here.

Love John Krakauer, Jack Kerouac, and I've recently been reading stories from John Muir. All are great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my favorite thing that I've done that was pretty cool was kayaking the Gore Canyon section of the Colorado river.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you storeis of my travels and recommend places to visit. I also can teach slacklining, basic climbing, kayaking on rivers or lakes. I can also help with carpentry and house renovations.
