My life is so different now that I need to start this from after I made some major life changes, close a business and start living life for who I am. As part of that journey I thru hiked the 2000+ mile Appalachian Trail (AT), and that is where i got my Trail Name Starchild.

From that I am doing what I love and finding out more and more what that is. In the winter I am instructing Ski School, a job that really resonated with me. For the summer, not sure what. I was a AT Ridgerunner one season and it was a wonderful experience, but really that is sending me in a different direction, perhaps teaching as I really am great with children realize their potential and for them to find out who they are and what they can do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While on the AT I was hosted by many people who I didn't know. The kindness extended to me I have already given back hosting several thru hikers the previous season, as well as other shorter distance hikers. From the AT I know how helpful and wonderful that is, and hope it will grow, people offering from their hearts to those who appreciate it.
