Overview
About Me
I am a young college music Prof. I love my job because I love the people. I am proud to be a Christian and not ashamed of my faith. I believe it is my calling to host and entertain people. I love to have students over for bonfires and tea, or have a weekend guest who just needs to crash.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love people! Hearing people's stories and spending time with people is the greatest part of life! To do so in the context of serving and giving of my time and space is a perfect blend.
Interests
My Christian faith drives me. Music is my job and deepest passion. I collect pens, particularly fountain pens, and am a self-proclaimed "pen addict." I've been a hobbyist magician since I was a kid. If I could some day be an ASL interpreter that would be pretty neat. Lastly, the art of memory is enthralling, albeit a bit nerdy.

Music, Movies, and Books
As a music teacher most assume that I am a Classical snob, but while classical music is great, I am as eclectic in my music taste as a person can be. From bluegrass to pop, from classical to classic rock, it's hard to find something I can't enjoy in some way.
Currently reading: "Revenge of Analog"
Movies: too many to list in full, but anything Jimmy Stewart is on the list, especially "The Philadelphia Story." I also enjoy the cult classic "Tommy Boy," any of the Marvel universe films, and unashamedly all 12,704 of the Fast & Furious franchise.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done: performed as a backup artist for several performing groups and soloists.
