To aquire a couple of acres of land around me and develope it into a permaculture environment

ABOUT ME

I moved to the county with my wife and 4 children 14 years ago, where I feel we are both much happier.
My desire would be to be as self sufficient as possible in both food and energy, but I'm a long way from it.
I like to build and make things, but, as my wife says, I'll never make any money at it, because whenever I've built something successfully I move on to something entirely different, so I have to learn all over again!

Interessen

I've dabbled in growing vegetables for the last few years, but this year my son took an interest and between us we produced a good harvest. So every day now, other then the meat, were eating from the garden (almost).
Perhaps we'll have our own pork next year!
I also generate some of my own power from a home built wind turbine.
