Circumstances don't allow me to accept guests right now in Manchester, I would love to host otherwise - I hope this changes in future :( - if you want someone to hang out with and show you around though I'm totally up for that :)

CURRENT MISSION

Right now trying to have as many novel and exciting experiences as possible while I can and to meet as many cool people and friends as possible! I know it sounds like a cliché but I've also really been figuring out who I am and what I want out of life and it's great to talk with people and get as many perspectives as possible and hear their own journeys :).

ABOUT ME

I studied a few different things at university, got quite unwell and had to leave, hope to go back in the future :)

I love stories and storytelling mediums. I'm really interested with games as a means of exploring human feelings and situations and I'm really interested in the illustration of them, 3D modelling, programming, narratology and literary criticism, stuff like that.

I like history, murder-trail tours or walks through the subterranean bowels of cities. I also like military history and unusual historical stories, and special communities throughout the ages, particularly minority cultures of rebellious/unusual people, LGBT history, etc.

I like doing adventurous things and thrill seeking. Scuba diving, learning surfing, skydiving, exploring national parks and jungles!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on tours through Rome and Berlin that I've found on Couchsurfing and met and hung out with people in various places - I think it's such a wonderful project and has introduced me to so many interesting people and friends! Most recently I went to San Francisco Pride with some people I met on CS :).

Mostly I think it's just a nice way to make travelling more accessible to people and enhance the experience for everyone by meeting interesting people across the world!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like all kinds of film. I enjoy picking apart independent and art-house cinema, but I also enjoy fun big blockbusters like the Marvel movies. I'm also a really big fan of animated films, both for adults and children, and try and see basically every Pixar movie.

Musically I like a pretty diverse range of things! Pop, indie rock, indie folk, post-rock, if I like it I like it! At the moment I'm listening to a lot of Phobebe Bridgers, Maggie Rogers, a Canadian indie pop band called Valley, Janelle Monae, CHVRCHES, Florence And the Machine, always open to recommendations :)

I read in all kinds of genres - literary fiction, fantasy, I like reading graphic novels as well!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Fortunate to have had many opportunities. African safaris, trekked Thai national parks, been up tall buildings from New York to Paris to Dubai. Went to the European Debating Championships in Vienna and attended the closing ceremony in these beautiful gothic political buildings. Hopefully a lot more to go though :).
