About Me
Hello CS Community,
Thanks for taking out 2 minutes of your life to read my profile.
People who know me well would describe me as funny, relaxed and well-travelled. I appreciate the simple things in life and I’m a strong believer in minimalism and would like to incorporate that to different aspects of my life as I grow older. I enjoy calm and peaceful surroundings.
I prefer to be around smaller groups of people rather than bigger groups. Presently a corporate slave with ambitions of saving our wildlife and bringing about race equality. I also believe that extremism in any form is not healthy going forward.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the best way to explore a new place is in the company of the locals. It adds so much to the overall experience.
I’d also like to meet diverse people who share some of my interests and views that I have mentioned in my ‘About Me’ section. I'm also looking forward to meeting people who can inspire me. That would be great.
Music, Movies, and Books
Current favourites: Cigarettes After Sex, Mogwai, Slowdive, HVOB, Death Cab for Cutie, Bonobo, Alex Cameron, The Cat Empire and Tame Impala. I also love dancing to Techno (Thank you Germany!)
Movies: I enjoy work by Jim Jarmush, Taika Wahtiti, Wes Anderson and Denis Villeneuve
Books: Presently, my favorite authors are Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Niel Gaiman and Gregory David Roberts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- While in High school, I would spend my weekends at a Childrens Hospital giving company to terminally ill children.
- Bungee Jump'ed
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn how to play the Ukelele and slacklining.
Always open to sharing stories, experiences and more.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tips and advice on how to enjoy your time in this city!
A good conversation over wine/beer/whatever suits you.
Basically, what's mine is meant to be shared :)
P.S. There's no coffee available at my place as neither I nor my flatmate are coffee-drinkers. However, I do have some lovely tea to compensate and if you absolutely need your morning coffee, I can accompany you to the nearest cafe.
