I love living in Sebastopol, but also enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures, food and languages. My 17 year old son lives at home and his interests are surfing, skating and hiking. My older son lives in Santa Cruz and he is in college studying horticulture.

My favorite part about traveling is the connections I make. I have been so fortunate to have received hospitality in many places. I want to offer hospitality to others who are exploring our planet and who need a place to stay.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I walked on the Camino de Santiago in Spain the summer of 2015. I started in Roncesvalles and walked to Astorga, then volunteered at Albergue Verde, a hostel for fellow pilgrims. I loved my Camino experience and would enjoy talking with fellow pilgrims or others considering the Camino. This summer I will be walking part of the Portuguese Camino starting north of Porto.

I have been studying Spanish and especially hope to connect with native Spanish speakers, as well as others learning Spanish. I live in a co-housing community and am interested in the concept of Community in its many forms.
