I am a tour guide and freelancer with a major in history from Zadar, Croatia. I am born in Zadar but moved to Korčula and stayed there from age 3-14. Then I moved to Split during high school. By the end of High school, I started learning Web Design in HTML. CSS and Java Script and made my first web page I returned to Zadar when I enrolled at University. I have a major in history. During study, I worked various jobs and learn graphic design which I did as a freelancer and also started learning 3d modeling. My thesis was Migration from Dalmatia in 1860. until 1918. I am interested mostly in social history, modern history, and migrations. I am learning Spanish and German in my free time because interest in exploring Latin America and Croatian communities in that area which was part of the research in my thesis. I worked in high school as a history teacher. I have some experience of working with people from many countries as I am renting rooms as a part of my house. I am also hosting people with Couchsurfing and Warmshowers. Currently, I am the most popular host on both platforms in Zadar. I have a certificate to work as a tour guide in Zadar county and a tour operator in the whole of Croatia from 2020. As a freelancer, I mostly worked with web and graphic design and recently 3d modeling. From September 2021 I have a certificate as Unity Programmer and Level Designer in Game and App Development. Currently, I have two games published on Android and two on PC. Also, I am traveling outside Croatia almost every year since I was 19 mostly by attending music festivals. I really like music so we can talk about that as well. Currently, I am developing one educational board game for Android. My walking tour is mostly history and art history oriented but I intend to adjust my walking tour depending on the people who booked it so I don't always go the same route. From April I got skipper license (Boat Commander C category) so I am planning to work more in charter on sailboat. Also from 2024 I will live outside of Croatia outside of season so I cannot host as much as before.

2023 Update
I moved to Berlin and I won't host until I stabilaze finacially because I moved to study again and work so I have to focus more on studies and work for now. Don't ask about hosting until I put that I am accepting or maybe accepting hosts. I am open for meeting up and sharing interests. Also when I am back in Zadar than I can host. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to make account on Couchsurfing because I have free room in my house where I already hosted people mostly who studied in Zadar and needed to go to exams. One my friend told me about this page so I made account. I have plans to travel all around the globe so Couchsurfing is great thing because I can host people and later when I visit their country they can host me.

From books I love: Clockwork Orange, The Robbers, Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo, Dante's Inferno. I am not so much into novels I like reading historical books, geography books, encyclopedias, astrology. I used to go often to pub quizes so I like learning about many topics. If you come to my place in Zadar you will see huge bookshelf with really lot of books. I am into learning Spanish and German so I like to read anything on those two languages to learn.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you playing guitar. I can tech you Croatian history, customs some interesting things about Zadar, its monuments. I have been going on concerts and music festivals for more than 10 years so I have plenty of story to share with guests if they are interested. If guests play some instrument we can play together in my garage. I play mostly guitar but have drums and bass guitar as well but recently I don't play those so much. I have certificate in 3d modelling, game development, tourism and from recently in sailing. Maybe we can go for a sailing one day.
