I am currently enjoying all privileges of a chilled student life (I'm doing a masters degree in secondary school teaching). With plenty of free time I'm pretty much out and about all the time and I love it - I'm ready to see the world and pretty much experience as much as possible! There's close to nothing I am not interested in (okay I admit, I don't care about collecting stamps or I am terrible at recognizing car brands) and I am a eager learner - just recently I started playing the guitar and I love it. Also I'm in love with photography, it gives one a whole new perspective on the world and all its details...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The travel bug has definitely bitten me when I spent a year abroad in NZ as a 16-yr old. Since then I can't wait to see more of the world (preferably all of it, although I know it's impossible, dreaming of it is kinda cool!). I enjoy traveling off the beaten track and getting to know other travelers or residents of other countries - so what way could be better to connect to similar-minded people?

Interests

A LOT, just to name a few: photography, arts, trying new stuff, reading good books, laughing, traveling and discover the world, listening to music, going to concerts, attempting to play the guitar, having great endlessly long conversations with friends (about everything - it can get pretty philosophical), daydreaming, staying up all night, walking barefoot through town, drawing and doodling on everything, acting crazy on purpose to spice up other people's lives and make them smirk, cooking and baking (or trying to), singing out loud and dancing on the street in the early morning hours, eating (very) dark chocolate or ice cream (with fries or popcorn in the cinema), picking strawberries, slack-lining, playing tennis, playing rugby, kayaking, zumba, other sporty things I can't think of right now, going to open airs or festivals in the summer, swimming in lakes, learning Spanish, chilling in my hammock, going to exhibitions, observing people in public places when I'm bored and then randomly start talking to the ones that seem nice, making people happy and most of all - doing whatever I feel like doing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I do enjoy all sorts of music, but I do prefer "unknown" bands to the "mainstreamy" ones :)

There are so many good books and movies out there - it'd be impossible to pick a favourite! (An all-time favourite author would be Haruki Murakami)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had so many beautiful moments in life which I am grateful to have experienced! Thinking of all the great memories of evenings of friends gathering and having a brilliant evening, bungee-jumping in Queenstown (New Zealand), my first skydive, rating passengers in a shopping mall with a "10" to make their day, climb the Great Wall in China, eating Tapas in Madrid and soooo many more :)
