Overview
About Me
Unfortunately I can't host anyone at the moment, because my living situation is quite difficult and with limited space.
I hope I can share my space again soon!
Hello I'm Delia, a 22-year old sister in this big family of humanity. Currently studying photography in Berlin and enjoying the melting pot and diversity of this city.
I believe that you can not measure worth in money or property, but the real richness lies in experience and an open mind and open heart.
I love to spend my time with photography, working in the darkroom or exploring areas and connecting with people through my camera.
Another thing that fills me with happiness is travelling, meeting new people and just being playful with friends, preferrably outside.
I love to connect with nature, lying in the grass looking at the clouds, looking at every detail of the wonder of nature, is one of the most beautiful things in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing because sharing some space with locals is the best way for me to travel as travelling is not about being a toursit for me and doing sightseeing, but really exploring the hidden corners and favourite spots of people actually living in this area. I have done couchsurfing in Spain and Germany and I can't imagine any other way to travel now, because it's so much more fruitful if you can share experiences, get to know people, make memories and connect instead of just living in a cold hotel room for yourself.
Interests
My great passion is taking pictures, with my camera I want to connect to places and people and tell their stories. It is such an inspiring instrument to open new doors in the world.
Also dancing makes me incredibly happy as it is a way of completely letting go, diving into the sound, being free and going crazy.
As I said I also love being in nature, hiking, walking or just lying in the grass. Nature makes me forget all these artificial worries we build up in our daily life and it never fails to remind me how beautiful the world is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done a lot of amazing things, I believe that if you just value every little thing it can be something amazing.
I love to help people and have done some crazy stuff for that, picked up a girl from the streets and took her home or once I waited 3 hours for the ambulance with a Polish woman.
I also went to the forest in a climate camp to protest against coal mines.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to love oldschool hiphop, maybe some dance steps and of course the beautiful German language with its lovely swearwords.
Teach me anything you want, from balancing a spoon on your nose to doing 5 backflips in a row, I'm all yours.
