In Melbourne I live in a co-housing community and I am quite used to sharing (while retaining privacy and independance). The community provides plenty of experiences to share and people to meet but can also be quite demanding in terms of meetings and commitments. I can't always host as I need time off from people too.

When in Europe, I am a traveller on a budget since I wish to live as sustainably as possible. This means quality and time are as important to me as money.

I often travel to Europe because I have family there and it is expensive when one lives on the other side of the globe....that is why I am choosing couch surfing this winter!
