My name is Denalyn, but I usually end up going by Dena, because most people find it easier to remember. I was born in the North Dakota US, but moved to Alberta Canada when I was 10. I have done a little couchsurfing, but not that much. I love taking lots of photos. I love to travel, but haven't got to do much travel. I love going to the beach and lakes if I could I could easily spend my life there. As well as I enjoy aquariums.

I like meeting new and interesting people and it sounds like a great way to meet some people you would possibly never meet without it.

Interests

I love to travel and unfortunately have not been to many places. I love photography and have loved it for as long as I can remember. I love doing photos in black and white and sepia. I like to make the photos look old. I also enjoy going out dancing on the rare occasion. I enjoy excersising as well and tend to walk most places because it is great exercise and I don't drive. Coffee. I love going and trying out different coffee shops when I travel. I definitely miss lots of the ones I have been at while traveling before. Wine and cheese. One day I would love to have a wine and cheese party. I love sharks my favorite is the hammerhead. One day I would like to be able to swim with sharks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lisa Gardner and Michael Connely are my favorite authors. For the most part I love to read mysteries. I especially love my Nancy Drew, which I have quite a few of the original hard copies of. I basicly collect a whole bunch of books.

My favorite music tends to mainly be music from 90's or earlier.
My top favorites though are Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Beach Boys, Lifehouse and Hilary Duff .

My favorite movies are almost anything old I love my black and white. The Disney Classics not a super huge fan of the new stuff. For the most part though I would rather just watch Tv Shows.

My favorite tv show for my entire life (well since I was 2 I'm guessing) has been Boy Meets World. I also enjoy watching Friends, Smallville, Chuck, Perry Mason, Diagnosis Murder, Criminal Minds, The Original Scooby Doo, Ducktales, Hawaii Five-O (the newer one), Prison Break, and CSI Miami . There are many others I like watching, but these are my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About the most amazing thing I've done is go to London England and Scotland on a band trip in high school.

I also the Summer of 2015 went traveling on my own for a bit in a few different places in the States as well as Regina Saskatchewan. I met quite a lot of interesting people lots of which was on buses. I also explored lots of coffee shops and took a lot of photos. Went on quite a few amazing adventures. My trip started in Regina then I went to Minneapolis then I went to Souix Falls and then I wen to Minot and then Portland and this other small town called Sweet Home in Oregon after that my last stop was California. Most of those places I can't wait for the next time I go. it was really hard having to go back.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are so many things out there that I would love to learn.
Since I was a kid I have wanted to surf and one day hope I get to do that. I would also one day like to learn Spanish for it is something I have wanted to learn since I was 6. There are many other languages one day I would love to learn as well.

Well chances are I will buy you a gift, ice cream, coffee or something. I personally feel like what's the point of having money if you don't share it.
