Informazioni generali
Chi sono
I regard myself as very lucky. I have a lovely husband of 33 years, 3 beautiful children of whom I am very proud and a wonderful community in which I live. I did not come from the "bush" but after marrying a local young grazier, I came to cherish our life on an outback station. We recently sold our sheep station and have moved to town. A most exciting thing about living in town is that a council truck takes my rubbish away every Wednesday whether the bin is full or not !
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I discovered couch surfing through a friend, thought what a fabulous concept and told my kids about it. They proceeded to pretend it was their idea and have been couch surfing on and off overseas ever since!
I live in an isolated place and see it as a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange, to meet people from different countries and different backgrounds and to show off this gem of a place I am so lucky to live in.

An insight into life in outback Australia.
I can do a fabulous roast mutton with all the trimmings.
We are pretty good stockmen ( well, not me, but my husband ) so - any farming jobs in a foreign clime would be interesting - mustering / fencing / handy jobs around the house! Living on the land means we are multi-skilled !! etc -
