Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel the world from now on. I dont want to go to tourist places or tourist hotels because I want to get to know the beauty of the country and it's culture. Thats why I signed up for couchsurfing. I'm hoping that I can get in touch with nice people from all over the world this way. People with whom I can share my experiences, my culture, the way I see things, and the other way around. I would be happy to host guests any time, as long as I'm not travelling myself of course.
I dont look for places to sleep over in the first place. I'm looking for people that can show me their country, culture and all the non-tourist-program stuff. If you'd like I want to stay in touch afterwards. But that's totally optional.
Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy all sorts of music. Just to name a couple of my current favourite bands: Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party, Little Dragon, Manu Chao, Tom Petty, LHS, KIZ, Wanda, AnnenMayKantereit, Bilderbuch, Pearl Jam, Journey, Toto, Disturbed, Pantera
Movies: The Hateful Eight, Guardians of the Galaxy, Kill Bill (favourite 3)
but honestly, I know so many good movies and series that this list could easily be endless..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to the romanian mountains to meet 2 of my best friends. One of my friends is from Finland but lives in New Zealand, and my other friend is from Bucharest. My finnish friend was still in Europe after christmas so we have decided to meet in the beginning of february and go explore Transylvania.
Stunning, snowy landscape with lots of castles and fortresses. Both well maintained or ruins. I was told by the flight assistants that not many people go to romania for holidays. In my opinion more people should!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook, play drums, drive all sorts of vehycles(seriously, all), I know a lot about PCs, gardening, healthy living, music, movies, metalworking, I speak decent english & german and I know how to adapt fast in new situations.
What would you like to learn?
I personally like to learn about different cultures and countries. Maybe a couple words of a unknown language as well :)
