I grew up on Long Island, NY, but my favorite place to be is in the mountains. My latest passion (obsession :) is learning to play classical guitar. Generally a quiet person at first; just need some time to warm up.

I can teach people how to backpack light with only 10 lbs base weight, and still be comfortable.
