CURRENT MISSION Beyond the winding road and around every bend, a beautiful land awaits for those who make it to the very end. ABOUT ME I´ve always wanted to travel, ever since I read about Captain Cook when I was a kid. These days I work as a primary school teacher. I get to teach everything from maths to geography to art. I also coach football at weekends and work as a travel writer and have compiled many humourous stories about my experiences. When visiting different places I love meeting new people and immersing myself into local cultures I have travelled to over 100 countries and will soon be living in UAE and hope to host once again. PHILOSOPHY Work hard to achieve your big targets. Treat people with respect. Get out to meet as many people and see as many places as possible. Do it now; you won't have the energy when you retire.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I aim to share experiences and establish friendships with all that I am lucky enough to meet. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE This project has changed the way I travel. I have met so many great, interesting, generous people through Couchsurfing. The world isn't such a Lonely Planet after all.

Music. Anything from Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Beatles, Blur, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys... too many to mention Books: I prefer autobiographies and enjoy reading stuff by Hemingway and Graham Greene
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences travel has provided for me. There are many highlights inc. Doing the Inca Trail, staying overnight in a salt hotel in Bolivia, whale watching in Iceland, diving the Blue lagoon in Belize and meeting people in all the countries that I have travelled.
My Interests
I like all kinds of music, reading, watching and playing football, getting to sample different food (and beer) from around the World.
