ABOUT ME

I am energetic, out going, and like to stay busy but also know when to slow down and simply appreciate life. I enjoy helping others in anyway I can big or small it doesn't matter because its how I show I care. I love talking to people and listening to what they have to say. I want to hear peoples stories and I want them to know mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a couchsurfing experience...unless of coarse I count friends I already had :)

Intereses

Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. I grew up cooking with my mom and now I am working in a Catering kitchen (one of the best jobs I have ever had) while I am in school. Being active is a big part of my life. I love dancing, sports, hiking (my favorite part is sitting at the top of a long hike and just appreciating the view), swimming, the list goes on. Learning is another one of my passions and I believe you can learn at anytime, anywhere, and from anyone as long as you are paying attention.

Música, películas y libros

This list is far too long. Movies: I like action, comedy, movies that are thought provoking or display honest human moments. Music: anything I can dance to or that sends me into a trance. Books: fiction and non-fiction, my favorite fiction author is Laurell K Hamilton, I love reading about history whether it is about a group of people or one persons life.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The moment when a judge signed my emancipation papers when I was 16 that stated I was my own legal guardian. Being given the ability to take control of my own life and looking back at all the numerous blessings that came from such a difficult situation that leaves me in awe.

Arriving at Western Washington University and having the fact that I was going to go to school there feel real for the first time. To be the youngest of seven kids and be the first to go to University when you grew up believing that you never would...that was a profound moment for me.
