We travel because it makes us free. We love wearing our homes on our backs and filling our memory banks and hearts with all there is to experience in this world - there's not a single thing we'd rather be doing and we feel so lucky to have nothing but time on our hands!

Dewi: Above all else, I am endlessly and lovingly interested in people. I love music, children, traveling, writing, reading, films, art, food, cooking, adventuring about, hearing other people's stories, new ideas, nature, and doing things that scare me.

Josh: Art, music, building things, jumping out of planes, pushing the limits, helping others and having a good time.

Dewi: I love music more than I could explain in this medium. I like reading Rumi, Fitzgerald, Coupland, Salinger, Sedaris, Potok, July, Gibran, Vonnegut, Bukowski, Eugenides, Hafiz and Murakami.

Josh: I like Disney movies.

Dewi: I traveled to Guyana for six weeks to volunteer in a remote Amerindian village without electricity, running water or linear time. My heart found home here.

Josh: I spent four weeks in Louisiana/Mississippi post-Katrina. We spent most of our time drywalling, also did some building. In 2007 I spent four weeks in Mexico building a roof for a special needs school. I have never traveled over seas and can't wait!

Dewi: I am a Red Seal licensed hairstylist and have trained with Goldwell, Redken, and Vidal Sassoon. I'd be more than happy to teach all kinds of haircuts and also cut your hair! I speak both German and English, and am interested in learning as many languages as possible - especially Malay/Indonesian!

Josh: I am experienced in construction, and am willing to impart any bits of knowledge I may possess to anyone. I want to learn really anything anyone has to teach. I am an eager student.
