CURRENT MISSION Live, don't want to miss a minute or a chance. ABOUT ME I live in Richland Center, WI a small rural farm town with my wife. Two grown children out on there own now so we are learning to live all over again. Started traveling and exploring. Learned to scuba dive two years ago and just had my first flight behind the controls about a month ago. I build and repair houses for a living, always new and interesting. I prefer and have built several round houses and am currently starting a new venture building temporary disaster relief shelters. PHILOSOPHY You can always make more money, you can never make more time. I believe in steering my own boat and Captain Pichard's "Make it so"

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We have hosted 9 exchange students in our home over the years for 5 months up to two years. Have had great experiences with this and want to continue to meet new people both by hosting and surfing. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Just getting started but sure our student experience will help out.
Music, Movies, and Books
Not one to watch many movies allthough did recently enjoy "Blindside". Music I can listen to anything for a while, prefer folk music. My wife is a singer/songwriter. Books - just bring them on, will read most of what I can get except horror- no use for it myself.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Last month we had a meteor streak across the sky in southern Wisconsin. It was about 10 at night and lite up everything to about dusk brightness then exploded in a hugh orange fireball. Absolutely incredible!!

I am very interested in alternative building/housing and especially in micro houses. Would love to share my building experience here and learn whatever else I can about it.
