About Me

Hey there!

I'm Diana :)

I'm here seeking cultural exchanges, to meet interesting friends and to return the favour when I can by hosting other fellow travellers.

I work full time in the biosecurity field- I'm mostly a glorified tradie that works with insects and plants.

I live with my partner in an apartment 5 mins from the beach, we really love nature and adventure so in our spare time you'll find us hiking, swimming, snorkelling, surfing (him), or cycling. And we're happy to share these hobbies with you.

I'm also really into doing things with my hands so I can sometimes be found playing an instrument, crocheting or painting.

I've also been vegan since 2018 <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting interesting, like-minded people from around the world and sharing stories and travelling tips. Specially interested in homestays and living like the locals!

I'm not currently travelling so I'm open to hosting others at my apartment by the beach.
We are happy to host you up to 2 nights at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. I must admit that I do listen to a lot of reggaeton purely because of the good vibes they always bring and feel connected to my Latino heritage.
Apart from this i listen to anything from French music, folky artists, to rock or indie/pop.

I would love to hear your favourite bands/music.

I love reading, I'm mostly into fiction novels. Favourite books include; Picture of Dorian Gray, Frankenstein, Wuthering Heights, A Little life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Relocated to Spain for a year and started from scratch.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish and weird insect facts. Can also point out pointless names of plants.
My partner can teach you bike mechanics, surfing, and French.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- My experience living and growing up in Australia
- My love for animals and nature
- Nice homemade cocktails if you're into that!
- Adventure together in national parks and reserves
- Snorkelling adventures including swimming with Grey Nurse Sharks
