About Me

It's very hard for me to write about myself... But as a friend's mother said once, it seems that everything is normal to me. I have an open mind and always look for different kinds of interaction, not afraid of cultural shock.

It's important for you to know that I live in a "off campus students residence" called Casa da Madre Jhuana, wich is shared by eight. It's a place green and gay friendly, and we all find the idea of receiving travelers very nice. We have a nice couch and there's always some beds available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started planning a travel for this year's vacation and a friend told me about this way of making it cheaper, interacting immediately with locals. Besides that, I told to my fellows from Madre how this works and everybody ejoyed the idea of hosting peolpe from random places with different cultures. We believe that this interation can be very fruitful to all the involved. That's why I'm here on Couchsurfing

Interests

Art is the main interest, I love discovering new painters, watch deep movies and learn more about music.
From all the forms of art I know, music is the one that really blows my mind. I feel easyly connected and sometimes I use them to describe what I feel (I send music to others).
I enjoy long walkings, nature and meditation (must learn more about that).

Once my memory sucks, I'll be unfair with a lot of things I love, but here we go:
Music: Paul McCartney, Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie, Caetano Veloso, Jorge Ben, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, The Doors and most of all psychedelic classic rock I know. And there's Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky too.

Movies: Every Coen Brothers movies I've seen, There will be blood, Evil dead, Up, Wall-e, 127 hours, Ó paí ó, Lisbela e o prisioneiro,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This kind of question always make me wonder if I haven't done anything yet, if my memory sucks that bad or if everything is normal to me.
