I was born in Ukraine in 1989 and moved to Germany in 1992 at the age of 3 along with my family. I'm self-employed and working online, hence geographically independent. Though I welcome the company that couchsurfing provides, I have no trouble travelling alone and exploring cities on my lonesome, if you don't have time. I'm very low maintenance in that respect.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Inception, American Beauty, Fight Club, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, In Bruges ... just to name a few off the top of my head. Way too many favorites ; Music: The National, Interpol, Radiohead, System of a Down, Mozart, Phillip Glass ...there's barely a genre I do not like. (I'm looking at you, Raggae.) Snorkeled among sharks, slepts in indigenous huts in Lesotho, travelled as a homeless person with a hammock for weeks....
My Interests
Way too many - Psychology, sociology, geography, astronomy and any other kind of science that can catch my attention. Travel has occupied the better part of my last 12 months, and I intend to keep it that way in the coming year. Other than that: All things tech-related, books, music (lots of it!), sports (ditto), travel.
