We are two at the moment: me Dimi from Switzerland and my girlfriend Altai from Mongolia. We are travelling by bicycle (except for Maldives). We have NO CORONAVIRUS as we arrived on febrhary 11 in Sri Lanka. No cases reported yet there.

Since may 2015, I am traveling by bicycle around the world. It took me one and a half year to travel from Switzerland to Mongolia . I then spent 2 years in Mongolia. There I met Altai.
After that, i cyclyed from Mongolia on the way to India through central Asia , Iran and gulf countries. I just finished to write a wonderful book about this travel. (A few of my stories are on my website in french: www.vibrations-d-ames.fr)

I didnt use couchsurfing so far as i met a lot of hospitality from people along the road and because i am active on warmshower, the site which connects cyclists (you can find me and my feedback there under https://fr.warmshowers.org/user/80934 )
If I am living at a permanent place in Switzerland or anywhere, i will be happy to invite you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are planning to stay long time in Indian sub continent to travel, learn language, work...) We are looking for:
- meeting nice people
- go for a drink or a walk
- getting information about religion and culture
- finding places to sleep
- finding places to pitch our tent. A simple garden is fine as soon as the owner allows us.
-finding cheap places at remoted places
