About Me
Fun loving guy who likes to go to concerts and have the ocasional drink
I always like to meet new places and try different things
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now that I finally have a steady job, it's time to go and fulfill my dream of being able to travel and go see my favorite bands that never come to Portugal :p
I also want to try and travel to every country in Europe, and get to know the culture, and what better way to than that other then meet the people?
More recently I have began to practice HEMA (basically sword-fighting like the old days) and would also like to meet other fencers from other places and share experiences :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Alestorm; Daft Punk; Metallica; Whitest boy Alive; I listen to almost everything except for mumble rap eheh, still haven't found the artist who got me into that
Movies - Superhero movies, cheesy slashers, whatever is on the cinema during crazy Tuesdays where entrance is cheap
Books - Isaac Asimov is my favorite author, but I am not much of a reader. I am trying to change that though
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a field trip with my former lab to Morocco to gather samples for our studies of lizards and parasites
Once I was on navigation duty and got us lost near the Atlas Mountains bordering the Sahara Desert. We had to to do wild camping in the middle of nowhere and sleeping under the most stargazed sky ever. That was my best night ever. The next day we turned on the GPS and were able to get back on the road ahahah
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to fight with a sword :D who never dreamed of being a knight or shieldmaiden?
Want to try something new but don't have company? I am always up for new things.
Will always try and bring a bottle of Port Wine as thanks :p
