About Me

Always I'll try to help someone who wants to see the world I live in.
When some traveler had to stop because of the bad weather or the night, in his village, my grandfather gave him something to eat and a place to sleep.
How could I be different than my grandfather?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first guests helped me to understand the CS concept:
1. It is the difference between tourists and travelers.
2. People are good or bad, but it depends only on us what we are looking for.
3. CS helps you discover yourself by connecting others.
I have several arguments now that the similarities between humans give us strength, but the differences make us more humane.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am often in Bucharest and if I am in a less busy working period, you can have the luck of a trip to one of the destinations: Bran Castle, Peles Castle, Balea Lake on Transfagarasan or another places to Black Sea.

If you come in Braila:
- the experience of living a day or more as an authentic Romanian;
- the challenge of cooking something from your country;
- a city tour or a bicycle touring outside of city.

We can visit the neighboring city Galati or go in Dobrogea to see the oldest mountains in Romania: Macin Mountains National Park.

Day Trips

- The city of Tulcea at 48 miles (80 km) east of Braila
- Exploring the Danube Delta at 12 miles (20 km) east from Tulcea.

The Danube Delta is comprised of an intricate network of waterways and lakes divided between the three main estuary channels of the Danube. The area of floating reed islands, forests, pastures and sand dunes covers 3,000 square miles and is home to a vast array of wildlife. Located at the tip of the three channels, Tulcea makes a great starting point for exploring the Delta.
