HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a bunch of people, surfed a handful and been to CS meetings in a couple cities. Hoping to get vouched for, so I can vouch for others. Looking forward to surfing/hosting more families.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a handful of individuals and groups. and cooked as many omelettes! I've surfed 3 couches with great folks in Stockholm Sweden, and 2 other in Salt Lake City, and hope to keep it up in future travels.

Going around the kaaba in mecca during a blackout in the 70's. Walking in pitch black in the countryside without a light. Skiing steep huge fast turns. The mist over the potomac river and the lights of key bridge after sunset as you row under it. The Egyptian countryside from the open door of a local train. Jumping out of a jet at night, and meeting up with another jumper in the air. The White City in Abiquiu, NM, USA. The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, and the Haramain in Saudi Arabia. Goree Island in Senegal. The sun rising over the trees out the picture window of my home. Fire. Ice. Water. Earth. Know God thru his signs.

Lots of web/technology stuff. Some programming. Very interested in design, process management, ecology. Specifically interested in the following five disciplines:
- transportation
- waste management
- education
- IT
- architecture

And have been blessed to get to play in all these spaces in some capacity.

I like to think i'm interesting (I mean, really, how many 6'6" white Muslims who compost and build container houses do you know?). I'm also fairly handy, whether it comes to finance or stopped up plumbing.
