ABOUT ME

In every day life I am a teacher, but I am not currently working as one this year.

I've saved my money now for 14 years!!! And i sold my house!! So finally i can worldtravel now. The plane ticket was not too expensive but to go to a hostel for 1 year is not feasible. So thats why it is nice to stay with nice people :-) Also because when you live somewhere you know the best places to go to :-) It is great to explore other country's, cultures and meet people from all over the world. :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and I host :-)

I will leave amsterdam every year around 16th june till 26th of june for a festival at one of the islands.

The festival is called Oerol, at Terschelling.

So it's not possible for me to host people at this periode. But when you have time left to explore. This festival is very nice :-)

Otherwise: have a nice time in Amsterdam!!! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's all new for me... I've heard from Couchsurfing so i went to have a drink at a meeting in Arnhem. The people were all very nice so i decided to make my own profile. At first i'd lived in a very boring part of the Netherlands but now i'm living in Amsterdam so now can people stay and enjoy.... The only thing is that i'm traveling now at the moment..

I'd like to travel, diving, sailing (you can go with us, we are with a group of nice people so you can always go with us)

In the evening I like to have dinner and a good glass of wine or a nice cocktail and sometimes i go dancing. When you want to join you are invited! :-)

I'd like alll kinds of music, it depends on the moment....

I'd like to watch comedy's and romantic films and sometimes a thriller with a good story.

I'd read a lot of study books but now i'm reading all kinds of books :-) Just were I'm in for at that moment :-)

Sandboarden in Namibie

Diving in (Thailand, Australie, Frans-Polynesie, Easter island, Zanzibar, Egypt, Bonaire, Curacao, Panama, Belize, Yap, Palau, Maui and Big island.

Skydiving and glacerhike in Nieuw-Zealand

With a expedition cruise for 3 weeks, South Georgia, Falklands and the Antarctic peninsula. Also camping and kayaking in Antarctica, amazing!!!
