About Me
Hello everybody out there!
I am Djalil, native of the very exciting Berlin. I love to do sports, especially Basketball, but also all kind of moving your body, to discuss politics, even though sometimes its exhausting, travel to get to know new people and cultures in different parts of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
That's simple: Because of you (That sounds like the US-Army slogan haha! I want YOU for the CS-Army ;)
I think life is a process, marked by the people around you. It´s great to know about anybodies philosophy, thoughts and experience.
There are a lot of new possibilities to stay with people instead of a hotel. That´s cool but still not like couchsurfing, where you share a certain time with person, getting to know a new perspective on things. And that´s all about, giving someone the opportunity to explore your world. Thank god not everything is about earning money :)
Oh, last but not least a very important issue. I'm Palestinian native. The reason I was born in Berlin is because a state, which I totally don't accept, robbed and is still robbing and terrorizing my family, friends and people. If you want to stay with me please write "Free Palestine" in your inquiry. Sorry for all other people who support that other state, but I can't offer a home to someone who took the home of mine/my people, or is supporting the one who is doing it. Of course I'd be very happy to tell and discuss the story and history of my family and country.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really listen to a lot of different types of music, like Latin rhythms , Jazz, Hip Hop and international stuff.
A great book which I totally recommend is "South of the Border, West of the Sun" by Haruki Murakami. If you haven´t read it until now, do yourself a favor and read it. And if you have the chance to visit Japan and read the book while walking through the streets of Tokyo, wow, I mean that was the most authentic reading experience I've ever had.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in the Ecuadorian Amazone where I was told that crocodiles are raising their little kids in. Sometimes excitement and silliness can be very close to each other.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning Spanish, if anyone out there wants to learn German, English or Arabic we can do a tandem together
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travel-Experiences, Basketball-Training, philosophical and political discussions, cultural and language exchange and of course a lot of fun
