Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting ready to travel the far east.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24 year old male living with two other men and and one woman. Everyone is laid back and welcome to new people all the time, such is the atmosphere around our hometown, Westport. I write freelance for the local papers when I can, and participate in a range of sports. Going to the pub with friends is an important pastime here, and one that is indulged in quite frequently.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't take it all too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I bring people to the pub for beers and have a laugh. Not much more to it than that. It's a simple life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted about 5 people at this time and each of them have been great for different reasons. Interesting conversation and great craic.
Interests
I'm interested in a wide range of things, (Isn't everybody) but here goes a list. Number 1. Philosophy, can't get enough of European philosophy, particularly French and German thinkers, but would love to learn Middle Eastern and Ancient Persian philosophy too. I enjoy reading, particularly classics from British and Irish Writers of the past two centuries and Greek Classics. Sport, I play Hurling (an Irish Game check youtube ;-)) and recently took up Boxing and Surfing too and love soccer. Other than those noble interests, people are always fun to take up some time, conversation, dancing, joking and the like.

Teach, Learn, Share
Learn? French, it is a goal in my life to spend a portion of it in France, the language is a major step in that direction, but learning any new culture is always a welcome experience. If one came to Ireland I imagine they would ave an interest in Irish History, our famous figures and our old and modern culture. I know all that stuff.
