Overview
About Me
From Buffalo and currently own a 3 bedroom home in the city. Into Snowboarding, road and mountain biking, kayaking, golfing, disc golfing, fishing, ultimate frisbee, hunting, volleyball and other outdoorsy activities. My wife and I have lived in the city for the last 10 years. We have a dog named nacho and two cats named miso soup and captain jack. I teach during the school year and relax during the summer. I like making connections with people and love to show off my hometown region.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I teach World History/Special Education and would like to host/meet a bunch of people from around the world that might be interested in being interviewed by my students. Hopefully after you stay/meet with me you might be interested in entertaining the idea of making a connection with the students that I teach. I am hoping that by my students having a personal experience with some people from around the world, that they will be more interested in learning about history and have more empathy towards all people.
Interests
I am interested in anything outdoors. From foraging foods, to just about any outdoors sport. I may live in the city now, but grew up in a rural area. I like to indulge in tasty food and drink. I love to cook, and play board games with my wife. Traveling has always brought joy to my life. Growing up my parents took me on many vacations and I carry on that tradition with my wife.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have remodeled almost my entire house and take great pride in the work that I do. While it might not be perfect, I love to learn and will continue to hone my skills.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am handy with anything related to construction and could likely build a house if I put my mind to it. I can cook many dishes and like to experiment different cultural dishes. I was a tennis and snowboard instructor for many years and as a history teacher, I like to learn and share historical information.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a great cook, can teach you to juggle, and can teach you about any of my interests.
