We just love idea of Couchsurfing and we have decided to try.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ksenia has been in Gemarny first time by the exchange programm. Also she has hosted the girl from Germany.

Interests

We like unconventional travelling,for example hitchhiking,hiking and trekking. Mitya also likes rock climbing and football
We like to work on intressting projects. For example refurbishing old chest of drawers Mitya's frend. Or we can spending all day that make wooden buttons for juniper, which we brought for forest.
Mitya is a master of creative ideas. Ksenia is originative soul with note rationalism and practicality.
Sometimes we cook together. Sometimes Mitya playing guitar and Ksenia sings.
Mitya likes stend up comedy, mostly british and american (Dylan Moran, Ricky Gervais, Lous C.K., Eddie Izzard etc.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Although it's hard to list all the genres the like, we can say we really fond of blues rock, low rock, stoner and maybe blues.
Ksenia likes else instrumental Music.
Mitya is huge fan of Jack White, Dan Auerbach and Josh Homme.
About preferences book, we have a spacious mind.
Basically it is books about the adventures of travel, for exsample Jack Kerouac "On the Road".
Ksenia likes books of Romain Gary and Allen Ginsberg.
It's always hard to tell about favorite movies, because we think it's more correctly to talk about the whole creation of it's authors. From that point the most valuable for us would be movies of brothers Coens and Stanley Kubrick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mitya was in the Pacific ocean on the ship for about two months this year.
Ksenia when she was 18 years old traveled to Europe by her self and visited 7 countries. Also she made the voyage on The Frigate Shtandart, which is is the exact replica of the man-of-war built by Peter the Great in 1703 in order to defend Saint Petersburg.
This summer we traveled to the mountains of Altai. In the Altai Mountains we were trekking on the horses even at a height of more than 3000 meters. It was a great impression.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, we live in Sait-Petersburg since our birth, so we know much about it's history and it's secret life. We can give you information about most interesting and topical city events, or even go there with you if we have enough time.
Naturally, you can use our wi-fi, or play on Mitya's guitar (if you know how), smooking our hookah for pleasant conversation
