Overview
About Me
I am very easy going and laid back. I am always up to try new things and go on adventures. New people and new cultures interest me. I am obsessed with learning new things, about new people, and different cultures. I always want to try local food and styles of cooking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing in an attempt to meet new people, make new friends, go on adventures and essentially change up my lifestyle a bit.
Interests
I thoroughly enjoy reading. I also really enjoy being outdoors, whether it be hiking, kayaking, climbing, playing sports, camping, paddleboarding, surfing or exercising. I have recently begun taking Jiu Jitsu and Judo classes and am finding that I really love it. I also enjoy playing chess as it is a very mentally stimulating game. Lastly, I love learning how to do new things, whether they be trade related or new games or sports or food related. I really love to eat new foods.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music is older music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and now I guess the 90's are kind of old too. There are too many movies to list but I love watching movies frequently. There are also a lot of books but some of my favorites include, Catch-22, The Illustrated Man, Brave New World, and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a whole month in Italy learning the language and traveling to various areas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a native speaker of English and will be training to be an ESL teacher.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories as well as my knowledge of the English and Spanish language. I am in reasonable shape as well so I can help lift heavy objects. I don't have any allergies and I love dogs so I can help to take care of animals. I like cooking and am always looking for new recipes and new food to try. I also like to clean and organize things so that areas appear tidier.
