About Me
Hey there,
I'm Dominik and currently studying Geography in the City of Göttingen, Germany.
I'm a pretty active guy who recently discovered his passion for all different kinds of Movement. From Calisthenics to Bouldering, Salsa and, as the newest addition - AcroYoga. Summerdays are usually spent outside, playing frisbee, juggling, hiking and just enjoying live.
Other than that I enjoy what most other 20 somethings like: a good party, some herbs, making new friends and experiences.
Since I was born into a position which allows me to study, travel and live my life the way I want to and many people all around the world do not have these freedoms, due to circumstances out of their control, I feel obligated to give back and maybe help on the way to make this world a place where more people get access to these opportunities and live in peace. Because of this I like to volunteer at least some of my time for different Organisations and hopefully my Education will enable me to do more in the future.
Have a nice day and I'm looking forward to meet you! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best part about travelling, other than beautiful nature, is to meet new people with diverse backgrounds and to share a small part of our paths in life. Even if it is only for a couple of hours.
As the saying goes: "You don't know a place until you've been to a pub with locals".

Music, Movies, and Books
During the day I mostly listen to Hip Hop (J. Cole, Mick Jenkins or Anderson .Paak),
but since the best parties around here are Techno I fell in love with the Music and the Scene the past two years so if you know about any raves I'm definitely down for it.
Other than that some of my favourite artists are: Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Nicola Cruz, Nicolas Jaar, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits and others.
Every Thursday we meet up with a couple of people and have a jam session at my place (I play drums), which is probably my favourite part of the week. We are not that great yet, but get better every week and honestly, to come together with different people and creating somewhat harmonising sounds is just a super satisfying feeling and it makes me happy.
So my taste in Music is pretty diverse and I always enjoy listening to other peoples music and finding some gems that way.
