About Me
My name dominique Ambrogi , I'm 28 , I'm Corsican and I live in Corsica . Corsica is a mediterranean island, part of France ( colonized ) first Italian until 1769 and bought by France to Italy. I live with my parents and my sister , my little sister and I are both law students. The more I grew , the more I want to discover civilizations and cultures very different from Europe, I want to travel with my sister, we are particularly interested by the East.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enrolled on couchsurfing because a friend advised me , she told me it was the perfect way to really experience a country. I wish to discover totally different country of mine and I really want to immerse myself in their customs, I want to see how people live , meet them , know their culture, customs then couchsurfing seems to me to be very suitable for this.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Corsican music , French , Italian, Moroccan , Lebanese and Iranian . One day I was in New York in a taxi and he put music that moved me to tears, I asked him what this music because there was only music and no lyrics he said he was Iranian and it was a music his country . Last summer in 2015 in a village near my home called " Pigna " I went to see with my family , a group of Iranian singers who came on stage they call " Pallett " and their music was very moving.
I love reading , I love the novels but mostly I try to learn the thoughts and works of the French philosophers. I love Impressionist painting , Monet, Manet , Renoir, Sisley , I love their paintings that can be found in museums in Paris, I could stay a long time before these tables.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think I still have done nothing special in my life but I think a trip to Iran would be an extraordinary thing , this country facsine me for a few years and I dream to go there.
