About Me

Hi:)

I'm just a girl who's trying to see as much of the world as she can. I work...a lot. I'm realizing that there's way more to life than my current 9-5 so I'm slowly trying to venture out and experience the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having inspirational friends that travel and "shutup and go", it makes me want to do the same while meeting interesting people along the way. This seems like a great way to meet the locals of places I've been dying to visit and gain an insiders perspective. Yay to new experiences.

Interests

MUSIC, dance/taking dance classes that put me out of my comfort zone, museums, film, learning cultures through their food, writing, photography (especially with disposable cameras), seeing cities on foot, laughter, reading, kayaking, festivals, I could go on forever.

Music, Movies, and Books

Led Zeppelin, Portishead, Beyonce, Roisin Murphy, Michael Jackson and currently FKA Twigs forever inspire me, but I'm always open to all genres of music.
I'm not a huge movie buff but I like anything that makes me laugh, has great action, a good love story, or makes me think.
1984, anything by Miranda July, Slaughterhouse Five, By The River Piedra and I Wept, Call Me By Your Name, Eintein's Dreams..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I went to Barcelona and one thing that stood out was the dance class I took. My spanish is pretty good, but it could definitely use some work. This class was entirely in Catalan. I was so lost/confused but it was the coolest experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anytime you'd need a place to stay, tips on where to go, or someone to show you around, you have a new connection in New York! I can teach you how to make music, the inner workings of Excel/budgeting, thrift..
I also cook, am super clean, am super positive, a great listener, and super positive!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Denmark, England, Iceland, Spain
